What is considered an emergency?

  • Vomiting

  • Bleeding

  • Non-weighting baring of any limb

  • Choking / Difficulty breathing

  • Severe bleeding

  • Blood from extremities

  • Straining to defecate and or uranate

  • Injury to the eye(s)

  • Consumption of toxins(s)

  • Seizures

  • Broken bone(s)

  • Pain upon palpation

  • Discoloration of the gums

  • Signs of heat stroke

  • Extreme lesion

  • Bloated stomach 

  • Unconsciousness

How much should I feed my pet?

By law, manufactures are required to state the recommended amount of food per weight

How often should I vaccinate my pet?

The AVMA recommends vaccinations annually for 3 years at which time we reccomd switching to a 3-year vaccine schedule. The Bartonella

(Kennel cough) vaccine may be given every 6 months as needed by boarding facilities, groomers, etc..

How long should I wait to neuter / spay my pet?

Our veterinary practice recommends a one year minimum for a neuter / spay of an animal
